Worship

Emanuel Lutheran conducts traditional/liturgical worship services using the “Lutheran Service Book” the principle hymnbook of the LC-MS. This hymnbook offers a variety of services and we typically rotate through Divine Service I, III, and IV and on months where there is a fifth Sunday we conduct Matins. Holy Communion is served every Sunday but in alternating services, that is, it is served in the late 10:45 service on the first and third Sundays and at the 8:15 service on the second and fourth Sundays. Our summer night worship services conducted in the 160 year-old log cabin church located on the back of our property use either a modified Evening Prayer or Divine Service IV.
